Kúveit, also known as Kuwait, is a Persian Gulf nation that has been mentioned in Icelandic media in the context of recent conflict. Reports indicate that an 11-year-old girl was among seven civilians killed in Kuwait, part of a total of thirteen fatalities in the Persian Gulf states since the beginning of a recent war. The girl, Elena Abdullah Hussein, was killed by debris from an Iranian drone strike while she slept in her home in Kuwait City.
