Evrópudeildin is the Icelandic name for two major European sports competitions: the UEFA Europa League in football and the EHF European League in handball. Icelandic football clubs, such as Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar and KR Reykjavík, have participated multiple times in the UEFA Europa League. The EHF European League is the second-tier club competition for men's and women's handball teams across Europe, and the Icelandic national handball team has achieved notable success in European handball championships, including a bronze medal in 2010.
