Samtök iðnaðarins, also known as the Federation of Icelandic Industries, is the largest and most influential employer organization in Iceland, founded in 1993. It represents approximately 1,700 member companies across various industrial sectors, including construction, manufacturing, food, high-tech, and creative industries. The organization works to improve the operating environment for Icelandic industries by influencing government policy, promoting efficiency, and advocating for its members' interests in areas such as education, energy, and international trade.
