The Utanríkismálanefnd Alþingis, or Foreign Affairs Committee of Althingi, is one of the eight standing committees of the Icelandic Parliament (Althingi). Its primary role is to address matters concerning Iceland's participation in international organizations and institutions, including its involvement in the European Economic Area and the Schengen cooperation. The committee also advises the government on major foreign policy issues and exercises oversight over defense policy.
