BK Häcken is a women's football club based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The team is often referred to as "Íslendingaliðið Hacken" (the Icelandic team Hacken) in Icelandic media due to the presence of Icelandic players on its roster, such as goalkeeper Fanney Inga Birkisdóttir and forward Thelma Pálmadóttir. They recently advanced to the final of the Swedish Women's Cup after a 3-1 extra-time victory over Djurgården.
