Solaris is an Icelandic humanitarian aid organization founded in January 2017, dedicated to assisting refugees and asylum seekers in Iceland. Its primary role is to address emergencies such as poor living conditions, social isolation, and limited access to essential services, while also advocating for improved conditions, human rights, and justice for these populations. The organization recently sued Guðrún Hafsteinsdóttir, chairman of the Independence Party, for defamation.
