HSÍ, or Handknattleikssamband Íslands, is the Icelandic Handball Association, the national governing body for handball in Iceland. Established on June 11, 1957, and based in Reykjavík, HSÍ organizes national handball leagues for both men's and women's club teams, as well as the Icelandic Cup. It is affiliated with the International Handball Federation (IHF) and the European Handball Federation (EHF). The organization plays a significant role in developing handball in Iceland, including managing national teams and promoting the sport at various levels.
